Originally conceived as a collection of “modern standards for the children of the 21st century,” Les Enfant was the first production work by music producer Yasushi Ide, released in 1987. Now, the long-awaited LP debut of its acclaimed follow-up, Les Enfant 2, is finally here!
This instrumental cover series features a stellar lineup of Japanese music legends, including members of Swinging Boppers (led by Mitsuyoshi Azuma), ORIGINAL LOVE, Ichiko Hashimoto, Susumu Hirasawa, Moonriders, and Carnation. Known for its lasting artistic value, this release includes exclusive tracks only available on this album.
For the LP edition, Ide himself carefully curated 11 standout tracks. The result is a fantastical, sometimes melancholic sonic journey—like a theme park of sound.
