Sweetness is Girlpuppy’s second studio album, marking a significant evolution in her artistic journey. Departing from the collaborative approach of her debut, Becca Harvey took the reins on this project, crafting a deeply personal and emotionally resonant collection of songs. The album delves into themes of heartbreak, self-discovery, and empowerment, blending elements of shoegaze, dream-pop, and early 2000s pop-rock. Collaborators include producer Alex Farrar and co-writers Tom Sinclair and Holden Fincher, with contributions from members of Horse Jumper of Love, The War on Drugs, and Beach Fossils.
